it's my first time leaving a yelp review! i honestly just had to commend this store for being so helpful and kind. i called last week to see if they had the ingredients i was looking for and they did! i went in the store yesterday and i was in awe as a grocery store lover myself. i got the ingredients and the cashier actually recommended a better substitute for one of the products i had chosen. a mishap happened when i left the store and either one of my products wasn't bagged by the cashier or i forgot to take it. either way i called today and relayed my issue, and they said i could come in. i immediately told the store what happened and a nice man helped me to the aisle for the product and told me how to make my food taste better! 10/10 service! i will be back

Classic spot for great high quality food and groceries. Their hummus in the best in the area and super reasonably priced. Nice nut and fruit section and great olives! Their premade dishes are just as amazing as the hummus. It can get quite busy during rush hour times and around holidays. Highly recommend!

Great spot for Mediterranean groceries and speciality spices. They also have a section for prepared foods, breads, meat and cheese. Love wandering around this store and trying out new products and ingredients. Also huge shoutout to their olive bar - they have every olive and it's all reasonably priced! About $5 for a container of castelvetrano olives!

I recently popped into Sahadi's looking for ingredients to make homemade Kunafa. I figured I'd find what I needed here, and I wasn't wrong! For a small space, Sahadi's really packs in a lot of variety. I found feta by the pound (how we used to buy it growing up), kataifi to make kunafa, many many types of labneh (my favorite). If you're looking for middle Eastern goods, I'd definitely start here. Anything you're missing could likely be found at Damascus down the block!

They've rearranged the inside a little. It works. There's the same general layout, with a sitting area for coffee. Many other items than just the ME foods. I found my Devonshire clotted cream here. If you've never had, try it on toast/scones/muffins with or without jam. They have jars and jars of nuts and sweets. If you're looking for barberry (very healthy) to put in plov or pilaf, it's cheaper and better here than Netcost. There is a wealth of spices, pastas/grains, cheeses, deli items, frozens, juices, a bit of fruit. The draw for me always is Joray fruit rolls. You can order online, too, they have an online store.

My family has been coming here to shop for the very best, in my particular case, since 1956, but I know they were here years before I ever shopped here with mom as a child. For me this is my baseline for all foods Middle Eastern, perhaps that's why I tend to be a bit harsh with similar here in S.D. The standards here in S.D. for Italian and Middle Eastern are certainly lower here than there, unfortunately. For Pizza, Alfredos, Brona Pizza and Long Island Mike. For Lebanese, Alladin, and/or Ali Baba. Period.

Excellent middle eastern grocery. I came in looking for Turkish delights. They had a fair variety of boxed options; however, upon inspection of their dessert counter, I was able to find a house made option. It was outstanding! I had a piece of pistachio baklava too, but the delight was the clear winner. During my meandering, I noticed nice selections of spices, dried fruits & treats, tinned seafood, and coffee beans.

I'm obsessed with Sahadi's in Brooklyn Heights on Atlantic Blvd and can't wait to visit my daughter again and buy more dried fruit and nuts here! They also have a take out section with grilled garlic shrimp, etc. my daughter loved their hummus and babaganoosh. They have other locations and definitely worth a visit to all!!
